Tomorrow night, join in on some fun at the Poshmark Hollywood Glam Posh Party. L.A. fashion staples like our favorites Erin and Emily from StyleSection LA, Deniz from Le Fashion Monster, and Jamie from Glam Latte, will be among those in attendance, and using the app. You’ll not only get to hang out with some of the city’s best bloggers, but also cop their personal pieces in a 21st-century style swap get-together.
Put your castaways up for sale through Poshmark. The fashion app sets up virtual buying and selling parties.
Poshmark, which launched this month, offers users like Jeanne Chan the opportunity to buy and sell fashion items through a free iPhone app. “It’s a pretty addictive app,” said Chan, a San Francisco resident and author of the Shop Sweet Things lifestyle blog. “I check it every day.”
If there’s one thing we are over here at Refinery29 S.F., it’s fashion-app-happy (ahem, peep here if you don’t believe us), and the latest style-meets-tech mashup that’s caught our attention is that of Menlo Park-based app Poshmark.
The Menlo Park-based company specializes in a mobile fashion marketplace built around real-time social experiences. The company offers Posh Parties, or themed, real-time shopping events where groups can shop, share and sell from their mobile devices.
